The Food and Health Advisor: Christine Bailey

Christine Bailey MSc PGCE Food and Health Writer, Advisor, Chef and Cookery / Health Trainer

Christine Bailey studied at University of Southampton and University of London (Wye College) in Environmental and Ecological Sciences before training at Raworth College in Holistic therapies, Thames Valley University as Professional Chef and University of Greenwich to gain a professional teaching qualification in food and health. Her interest in food and nutrition came from food sensitivities of her own following a life saving operation in her twenties.

Christine has over a decade of experience in the food and health sector, writing for numerous health and food magazines, newspapers and working on local radio. Magazines You Are What You Eat, Optimum Nutrition, Natural Health and Beauty, Here's Health, Allergy Magazine, Natural Lifestyle, Organic Life, Pregnancy, Prima Baby, Mother and Baby, ASDA Good For You as well as many food, health and family websites and charities including the World Cancer Research Fund UK.

Through her writing, consultations and teachings Christine aims to promote a healthier lifestyle for all, one that is for life. Each area of her work strives to bring essential advice on food and nutrition and equip people with information and skills to achieve and maintain optimum health. Whether it's through personal consultations, courses and workshops, writing, books or recipe development, her mission is to share her passion for healthy food to achieve a healthier and happier life.

She is currently studying for a degree in nutrition with the Centre for Nutritional Education and Lifestyle Management validated by Middlesex University.
